The Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo, called for short Palermo, is an Italian football club based in Palermo on 1 November 1900, which since 2004 plays in Serie A. During its one-century-old history, it has experienced three failures: the first in 1927, second in 1940 and third in 1986 and in the first two cases there were two small local companies to assume the inheritance, while in the latter case a scratch a partnership was based that brought football in Palermo after a year of inactivity.
