Obviously, Your private guide won’t get out of helping his visitors.

The National Archaeological Museum of Naples was built in the early 17th century, the palazzo housing this museum was chosen in 1777 by King Ferdinand I as the perfect home for the immense Farnese collection of ancient artefacts inherited from his grand –mother Elisabetta Farnese. Discoveries from Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabiae were added later, making this one of the world’s best archaeological museums.
The museum is distributed over four floors with great masterpieces such as the Tirannicidi, Doriforo, Toro Farnese and the collection of paintings.
